Brazil has a rich history in sports, with many legendary athletes and teams hailing from the country. Some of the most well-known Brazilian sports legends have even led the world for a long time and are still known far beyond the country’s borders. 

There are exceptional Brazilian athletes not only in football or Formula 1, as you can see in the list below, which is by no means exhaustive.
